When is the API going to become stable?

I really appreciate the Mozilla effort. It
is by far the best browser available,
and I use it all the time. But I have been
wondering when the interface between the Java
VM and the browser is going to freeze.

I mean, come on, guys, it has been 5 years.
How long does it take to define a few .h files
and some configuration stuff? After all this
time, it's kind of sad when people still
don't know if a browser will run the Sun
plugin. Let's add all the features we need,
but please, for the love of God, decide on
a core API/ABI and stick with it.
