BJ -- Better to ask Firefox questions in the mozilla.support.firefox newsgroup which
you can find on the news.mozilla.org news server.

Everyone has moved to the mozilla.* groups on the news.mozilla.org news server.
The group you are in was abandoned 4 years ago - see
 http://groups.google.com/group/netscape.public.mozilla.browser/msg/33678c39134833f2

Do not try to use a different news server to read or post to mozilla.support.firefox.
Like it or not, the mozilla.* newsgroups have been set up like a company
news server. They are not shared with other news servers across Usenet.
Set up a second news server, "news.mozilla.org", in your newsreader.

You can also use Google Groups to access the mozilla.* newsgroups.
