Hey Paul,

nice sleuthing. A few notes:

   1. It seems that this solution only works on the flickr website.
   2. To see this in effect you have to do more then just disable the flash
   plugin - you must  actually change your browser user-agent string; not a
   very workable solution for our case :(
   3. It is hard to tell from this write up, but it looks like they are
   offering html5 video for videos on flickr as opposed to slide shows :(

It's relatively easy to work with the javascript api - I am surprised no one
has built an easy to use javascript widget yet - I guess the 'openness'
issue with the flickr flash slideshow is still new on the seen an the old
flash slideshow was pretty good up until now.

Maybe I should build a javascript embedable widget?
