Also, you don't have to be qualified to write a music review
for a newsgroup, you just have to be (hopefully) a music
lover.  Similarly, a great many of the public write reviews
for amazon.com  yearly without music industry qualifications.
Anyone on a music related or general newsgroup should
feel free to review their favourite artists or even to 
unfavourably review artists they feel are overrated.
And many do, why don't you?
