Probably the most cogent and balanced synopsis of Reagan I've yet to
encounter.
My problems with Reeagan were just as you say. I was a teenager and the
military buildup plus antagonizing East/West relations caused much
consternation by heating up the Cold War in an already turbulent time.
Then there was the deficit and all of those flag-waving nationalistic
fools who came out fo the woodwork.
