(FOX40.COM) �An incident where two restaurant employees were assaulted
over a 鯿ride flag�is being investigated as a hate crime, according to
the Roseville Police Department.
Around 10:15 p.m. on Thursday, RPD responded to a call about an assault at
a restaurant located on the 10000 block of Fairway Drive. Police said the
altercation began when a suspect entered the business to pick up a
delivery order, noticed a pride flag displayed inside, and reacted by
grabbing and throwing it to the ground. When the manager and employees
confronted the suspect, he used a homophobic slur and left the scene,
according to RPD.

Shortly after, police said the suspect returned with two other
individuals, engaged in a physical altercation with two employees, and
fled before police arrived. The suspects remain at large and the incident
is being investigated as a hate crime.
